Paint before Floors
The interior paint color was a difficult decision. You know, we are going for the beach house feel, but want to keep the interior slightly more neutral than the outside (shouldn't be too hard, mind you). The color was choosen based on the granite we decided we liked -and could afford- so the winner was: Primitive Green. The main interior walls (kitchen/living, hallways, stairwell, etc) are all this color. The bedrooms are one shade lighter -Celery Bunch- and the ceilings one shade lighter yet - Daiquiri (the most appropriate for our house). For the bathrooms we actually went one shade darker -tropical forest, but I don't have any photos of them yet.
Here is the bedroom color...
And last but not least, the floors! They made for a tiring Memorial Day weekend, but they are almost complete. We ran out of material (mostly because I decided to do more than originally anticipated) so we had to take a break and wait for more to arrive.
